The Awesome Bag

So ever since I read this post on Lifehacker about awesome bag setups I’ve been jealous. Stupidly jealous, it seems that to get a good bag set up you had to spend loads of money, or the items that they had weren’t available in this country or hand to be shipped across (the bags in particular).

Productivity: Prologue

Productivity, that elusive ethereal concept. Sometimes you have it and sometimes you don’t.

I’ve (and therefore I assume most other people) wanna be productive, who doesn’t? It gives you a lovely warm “hey aren’t I awesome” feeling inside. Ever since I stumbled upon Lifehacker I’ve become obsessed with productivity, tips and tricks.

With the myriad of connected devices that we carry on us we are constantly bombarded with information and sometimes it’s difficult to stay on top of what’s important as well as keeping track of it all. Well being a geek, which means I love systems and process there’s lots to mess about with and want I wanted to do was share my setup with you and invite hopefully comment and discussion on areas I can improve or destroy.

As I feel this is such a large topic and I would like to give it proper time and consideration and also not to mention that I’m not really a good writer (I’m more of a talker, if you met me in person you would know this), I’ve decided to split this post into four parts:

Part One: Systems
Part Two: Software
Part Three: Toys
Part Four: Round up

I’ll be discussing what I use, how I use it and also why. But I’d also like to hear from you, what are your workflows how do you use certain application. Have tablets and smartphones made you more productive or worse are you now a slave to them?
